Educator, Author, and Educational Consultant
Dr. Elaine Mosley is a career educator whose service works include classroom teaching; guidance and counseling; teacher development and evaluation; parent/volunteer training, and data-informed school administration practices. She is “founding” Principal/Director of two (K-8) schools. Her leadership standards have consistently embodied evidence-based principles and practices for the socialization, cultural and academic thriving of all children. She provides consultation, mentoring and coaching support to individuals, schools, and community organizations. As educational consultant to the Samuel DeWitt Proctor Conference, (SDPC) Inc., a national African American faith-based, social justice organization, Dr. Mosley authored one of the Conference’s, 2017, publications: “Awakening Sacred Memories: A Resource Guide for Healing, Restoration and Justice.” Under the auspices of Academy for Diaspora Literacy, Inc., in Atlanta, Georgia, Dr. Mosley is a curriculum consultant and Jegna with the Guardians of Heritage National African-Centered Youth United Leadership and Collaborative.
In the community where she lives, Dr. Mosley’s presence is known through her service as a board member of Unity Partnership, Inc., a 501(c)3 civic and law enforcement organization, the DuPage County NAACP Education Committee, and the DuPage County, Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Advisory Committee.
She is an alumnus of Lincoln University, in Jefferson City, MO., where she earned a B.S. in Elementary Education, and a M.Ed. Degree in Elementary School Administration. Dr. Mosley obtained a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Oklahoma State University, in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
